Kit

Some of our arts require special items of kit, protective gear, or weapons. Find out how to get those things here, and if in any doubt talk to your Instructor or contact us before buying things yourself. We will be able to advise on getting the correct thing and help you get it at trade prices.

It's easy for people who don't check first to waste their money by getting the wrong thing, or even find themselves breaking the law in buying weapons. So be sure to buy through LCTKD, or check first with us before you order yourself.

Please scroll down to find what you want. (There is a separate page for suits and another for T Shirts). If you can't find what you want, please contact us because we supply other discounted things not shown here directly to our students.

TaeKwonDo Students: Use the LC-TKD App!

threebows

TaeKwonDo students can buy all the kit they need using our specially designed LC-TKD App, as well as find out about classes, keep up to date on class changes and grading dates, check what you need for your grading, pay for your gradings, and buy the books you need.

You can view the app on your computer, or download it to your phone or tablet, by clicking on the button below.

If you download it, please make sure to click to allow push notifications, as that allows us to update you about class changes.

SAMA Kickboxing Students

You can use the LC-TKD app to order sparring gear, because it's the same, but speak to your Instructor about clothing for class and any other training aids.

Tai Chi Students

ts

The thing that Tai Chi students want most is one of our T shirts, because we don't use specialist Tai Chi suits in our classes.

Many of our Tai Chi students also use Tai Chi Fans, Swords, and Sabres. As there is a restriction on selling such things through the website, just contact us to order and we will get you the right item at better than retail price.

Please note that there are many restrictions on the sale and purchase of weapons, so don't order any weapons yourself without first checking in, as you may well get something inappropriate, dangerous, or even illegal!

Enso Students

ensokit

Students of Ensodo, Iaido and Bujutsu need a special belt called an Obi, which does not come with the free suit we give you, or with any suit you buy. Usually, your Instructor lets you borrow one as you try things out, but soon it's time to get your own. These don't change as you progress, so they last a lifetime! Along with your Obi, you need a wooden practice sword, called a Bokto or Bokken, and the scabbard that it goes in, called a Saya, plus the cord that it ties with, called a Sageo. Later, you will probably get your own sword, but in some of the things you do you will still use this wooden one. So once again, it lasts a lifetime!

To get any of this essential kit, talk to your Instructor or contact us, and if there is anything else you would like to get (people are always wanting new training weapons), make sure to talk to your Instructor first and they will help you get the right things at the best price.

Please note that there are many restrictions on the sale and purchase of weapons, so don't order any weapons yourself without first checking in, as you may well get something inappropriate, dangerous, or even illegal!
