Bujutsu

Bujutsu is the study and practice of traditional Japanese martial weapons, although in LCTKD we include weapons from martial arts developed in other East Asian countries.

Bujutsu includes for example Kenjutsu (sword fighting techniques), Bo, Tonfa, Sai, Sabre, Nunchaku and Naginata, and a range of other weapons from martial arts of East Asia.

Yet our teaching of Bujutsu is not intended to be stand alone. Part of our Enso family of arts and taught in Enso sessions and workshops, our Bujutsu helps students of our Ensodo and Iaido, as well as students of other LCTKD arts, to widen their understanding and inform the other things they do with us.
