Taekwondo Patterns

You learn a new pattern each grade up to black belt (after that, you learn three per grade).  In our TaeKwonDo Handbook, every single pattern up to Black Belt is described.  Get yours using the link on the left.

Meanwhile look at all the videos we post here.  Remember that it’s best to learn your patterns one at a time.  Don’t try to jump ahead, but keep to your next grading pattern, practice it every day, and try to get it as near to perfect as you can.  Double click on the videos to see them on a larger screen.

We prefer to use our students in videos.  Please remember that all martial artists, however experienced, are not perfect and are still striving for perfection.

Obviously, the videos you see will not be perfect, so we recommend that you use them as a helpful guide, not as something exact to copy.

Read your pattern description, and make sure to check the moves with your instructor.
