Live in or around Evesham or the Cotswolds? We are looking for the right person
to work with us to help our TaeKwonDo and Ensodo classes there grow even more. You
don’t need to be a martial artist, just good at getting people involved. (You can
have free martial arts training if you like!)
So what have we got to offer?
An international reputation, worldwide credibility, an established presence in the
local area, a super-cool connection with London Chinatown, a family friendly approach,
40% female students, lots of events and activities, martial arts for all ages, a
wide range of teachers with great martial arts and “real life” expertise, a championship
winning competition squad, great with kids, great with older students, specialists
in self defence, a big community presence, school and business partnerships, some
cool clothing and great gifts in our fab on-line shop, great value rates, and a whole
wellbeing side to go with it…. and there’s still more but we’re running out of space
here….
Okay, so what’s the job?
We’d like someone to promote our Cotswold and Vale classes, working from home, hours
to suit. You don’t need to be a marketing expert, and if you think you could do
it, we would be happy to talk to you even if you don’t have any marketing experience.
How you do it is up to you, as long as it’s legal, moral, and fits with the spirit
of what we do (nice, honest, fun, family friendly - that sort of stuff). If you
want to stand on street corners and hand out leaflets, that’s okay. We rather think
you’d be better off building on our business and schools partnerships, but hey, that’s
up to you.
And the good news is?
It’s flexible, it’s fun, it’s worthwhile, and you get out of it what you put in.
You don’t have to be young, you don’t have to be old, you don’t have to be good
looking, you… well, you get the picture. If you need something that fits around
the other things in your life, then you can tailor what you do with us to what works
for you. If you do well you can look forward to a growing job and growing income
working with a very nice bunch of people (who happen to be a bit scary). Seriously
- if you can grow our student base in this area, we’d be interested in extending
your work to London, to our instructor franchises, our events, and our international
activities. You get to grow with us.
And so the bad news…..?
We don’t want to (and in any case just can’t afford to) make an open ended commitment.
We’re looking for someone who will begin with a contract based on commission only,
and prove that they can make it work - and make a decent amount of money in the process.
We pay you for every new student that you get to sign up, and a bonus as long as
they’re still with us after three months. (On average, our current students stay
with us much longer than that.)
Is it worth the risk?
Actually, there’s no risk. We’re not asking you to spend any money or give up another
job if you have one, and if you don’t have one and are on benefits, you can legally
keep getting your benefits if you don’t earn any money, (as long as you tell them
what you’re doing and declare what you do earn). So there’s no cost, it’s flexible,
we’re easy to get along with, it’s a super-cool thing to do (it’ll impress your friends)
and you’ll get free martial arts training, at least. If you are the right person
and can prove it, you’ll not only make money but persuade us to negotiate a longer
term contact and open up all those other opportunities for you. What have you
